LoB - Character Introduction Thread
Welcome, and Thank You for Joining Legends of Brea'athor, a Role-playing Adventure!
Please note that this thread is for Sign-ups ONLY. Please no chatting with new members or asking when factions will be reopened. Questions can be asked in the FAQ thread, and discussions can occur in the faction threads or just about anywhere else.
Please Note: If one region starts to become over-represented, we may have to close signups for it for a short time.
Choose your region wisely. Once you choose a faction, you swear allegiance forever. Switching factions is not allowed.

The Platinian Empire (Primary Color Red - National Colours: Red, Dark Blue, Gold)
The Talraenian Empire (Primary Color Sand Green - National Colours: Sand Green, White and Black)
The Kingdom of Draconia (Primary Color Dark Green - National Colours: Dark Green and Dark Red)
The Kingdom of Eidfjordenhall (Primary Color Blue - National Colours: Blue, White and Gold)
The Free Peoples of Brea'athor (Primary Color Yellow - National Colours: Yellow, Black, Green, etc)
A quick note on faction colors - Please make sure your intro pics use the correct faction colors. Flying your national colors should be a source of pride and gives each faction unity.
If you don't own the other colors for your faction, you are allowed to just fly the primary color by itself.

Sir Marcus from the House of Westfoldian
Can't get the picture to work so here's a link www.flickr.com/photos/121068492@N02/14957377451/![]() When Marcus was still a boy he traveled a lot his father a wealthy merchant selling the treasures his parents had collected, before she died his mother would tell him tales about the many adventures they shared. You see before that night his life was changed forever, his mother and father were adventures they spent their time searching for adventure and treasures all across the lands. That night everything changed, Marcus was only a young boy when they came a ripped his family in half, the screams, the flames and the giant reptilian monsters that took away his mother along with his child hood. Since that night his farther gave up on adventuring, he could no longer find it enjoyable, it only brought back memories, and Marcus... he spent every hour he was not at school or helping his father learning about the monsters that ruined his life and practicing his swordplay along with other skills he would need to know to slay dragons. When he was 18, Marcus left home armed with his mothers sword, a lance, and a shield bearing his families crest. He rode for 3 months tracking the dragons. Marcus followed the path of destruction the beasts had left behind, when the 3 months became 2 years Marcus had found the monsters, high up in the mountains along the border. After a 5 days of intense fighting he slayed the beasts, his horse had run in fright the second he was knocked from its saddle. Years later he stumbled into the capitol bruised and battered but alive, he collapsed once he was through the gates. When he awoke he learned of his ties to the House of Westfoldian and how his father had left to seek out adventure with his mother leaving the senate business to his father and brother. Since Marcus had accomplished his life's goal, he had no idea on what to do next, his uncle got him into the Imperial guard, where he was tasked with his protection. Marcus enjoyed this immensely and advanced through the ranks quickly, he is now a Captain in the guard. (Matt if something needs to be changed just tell me) ![]()

Lord Gerhard, a loyal knight and General of Draconia. Born in the northern area of Draconia, he left left his family when he was 10 and he had traveled most of Draconia. When he was 13, he was attacked by wolf, the wolf had cut his eye and left him blind in his eye, Gerhard stabbed the wolf with his dagger and had slain the beast. After that, Gerhard became a squire for the Draconian army and later on, he was knighted and became a lord and swore loyalty to Draconia. Gerhard has an obsession for tournaments and fighting. He has many different helmets, weapons and armour. During the early Draconian and Platinus war, had defended many areas of Draconia from the Lion, never backing down from a fight.

Talraenian Empire
Her Sole and Most Highest Majesty Loyî III. DeTanith, Princess of Thanatos
The Principality Thanatos is part of the Talraenian Empire. Since the city was independent for a long time the cultural influence of the Empire is rather weak and until now the Princes have been able to keep this relative independence. Even though Thanatos is part of the Empire the power of the Talraenian Emperor is small in this part of his realm and usually the Emperor does not play a major role in daily policy. Nevertheless, the Princess avoids to anger him too often and prefers the status quo. One reason for the restraint of the Emperor with respect to Thanatos might be the fact that their armed forces are of significant strength and he prefers not to make them his enemy. Obviously he could beat them but this would bind noteworthy forces that are needed at the border to Platinus. Another reason is that he has a major crush on Loyî since he once met her on her coronation (where she treated the Emperor with utter disdain). In order to keep things simple with his jealous wife, the Empress, he keeps away from the Princess.
God, how I hate those light flesh minifigs. At least some model construction paint does the job for me.

 King Erik Enderson of Geminus Free Peoples of Brickdom Human Story: King Erik rules over the city-state of Geminus, and is one of the most renowned rulers amongst the Free Peoples of Brickdom. Ever since he was a boy Erik has always had an appreciation for intellect, and has always strived to improve his own as well as that of others. Although preferring to find a peaceful solution to everything Erik will use his vast knowledge of military tactics to defeat an enemy and protect Geminus. Even after the deaths of his parents, which resulted in him taking the throne at age twelve Erik has always stood for justice and fairness for all people. Even now as Geminus faces threats from outsiders he continues to strive to protect that which matters most to him, the people. |
