Welcome to the Innovation Guild fellow inventor!
This is a place where dreams come true through creation, construction and design. If you are up for the challenge you will love this guild.
Special note: Although the Innovation Guild has several categories for you to work up. They are all one brother/sisterhood. However, each style will have its own unique perks.
Tinker: 2 Builds
1) - Every great inventor must have a workshop. Your first task is to either show your character building his workshop, buying his workshop, or discovering a secret and or abandoned workshop where they will start planning innovations.
2) - Build a scene where you character is starting his first innovation. It should be a simple invention, or construction of a new building, or he is forging some new weapon, tool, etc. This is the time where you can decide your characters future path (Engineer, Architect/Mason, or Smith).
Junior Engineer, Apprentice Builder, Apprentice Smith: 2 Builds
1) - After your first creation, you have recently been discovered by a more astute Master of the Art. He/She has offered to teach you more about your newly found skills and enlighten you about the Guild. You must build a scene where either a Master Engineer, Master Architect or Master Smith have taken your character on. This can be a scene where your previous creation is being showcased in public or a scene where they discover your workshop.
2) - Build a scene where your new Master is helping you to create your next project. This has to be more ambitious than your previous creation.
- For Engineer Class - You need to build a bridge, dock or war machine.
- For Builder Class - You need to build a building, small ship or wall scene.
- For Smith Class - You need to either forge a weapon, tool or make an statue as a form of art (this includes fountains, parks, etc).
Engineer, Skilled Builder, Smithy Artisan: 2 Builds
1) - Your master in training has departed to allow you to hone your skill on your own. They feel you are worthy enough of this. So you now need to impress them more than ever. At the same time your local leaders have granted you increased funds to do some fantastic labors.
- For Engineer Class - You need to build a large work that involves many laborers. Such as a dam, pier, aqueduct, sewer system, water system, etc.
- For Builder Class - You must build a grand structure or ship. Larger than what you built before. This can be a Temple, Warship, Grand Wall or Gate, Fortress, etc.
- For Smith Class - You must build a grand or larger workshop showcasing your increased need for laborers and showing your increase in weapons production, tools, or Art.
2) - Recently your town, city, village or encampment was attacked. Your leaders have requested that you help increase the defenses.
- For Engineer Class - You can build a wall scene with new siege weapons, or other ways to better defend your home. This includes, ditches, pitch stations, etc.
- For Builder Class - You can build a scene where you are building a new barracks for troops, or anything that would help show your place developing to protect itself more.
- For Smith Class - You can build a scene showing a new set of armour for your people or new tool that will help them build faster to defend themselves. This is also the first time you can build an Automaton if you are a dwarf.
Master Engineer, Master Architect, Master Smith: 1 Builds
1) For your grand deeds, the noble leader of your area has requested you build something worthy of their honor. This is open to interpretation, but requires a very large scale build and has to be above 48x48 studs in size for a scene. This is open to suggestions, but must be approved by an Admin prior to project start.
